Abstracts

For me it is important to have a reason, a message embedded in the abstract. There is something elusive about painting abstract after figurative. The last two paintings are a combination. The Male Gene is my favourite. At the bottom of the painting the woman and the turtle symbolise the compassion of the female. The bird of freedom is above. On either side two aggressive male Genes rise up and explode with hatred and revenge.
