Life in the Tropics

My studio is on the northern part of St. Kitts below a volcano and looking out across the Caribbean Sea to three islands, St. Barts, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius. I live in an old wooden plantation house called Mounty P, a place of great charm and tranquillity. My large studio is adjacent. I paint in all mediums, continually changing and experimenting. I like to start work early in the morning and continue for about 5 hours. I carry a sketch book with me most days for ideas and drawings which is then used for larger paintings.
